TROUBLESHOOTING
Product is not operational in any way
The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.
Plug is not plugged in
Plug in the plug into the socket. Mains voltage must be 220-240V and the product must be plugged into a grounded
socket.
Fuse connected to the cooker hood or the main fuse in the fuse box is not intact
Replace the fuse.
Other problem
Contact the support if the problem persists. Contact Elvita support if you need help with your product.
Product performance is not enough and the cooker hood creates high
noise while running
The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.
Metal grease filters are dirty
Clean the metal grease filters. See section "Clean the metal grease filter", page 15
Flue outlet is too small
Make sure that the flue outlet diameter is at least 120mm. This only applies to installations without carbon filter.
Carbon filter needs to be replaced
Replace the carbon filter at least every 3months, under normal use conditions (1 to 2hours a day). This only applies to
installations with carbon filter.
Kitchen is not ventilated adequately
Ventilate the kitchen adequately, in order to provide an airflow.

Product's air intake is weak
The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.
Metal grease filter is dirty
Clean the metal grease filter. See section "Clean the metal grease filter", page 15
Air outlet flue is closed
Open the air outlet flue.
Carbon filter needs to be replaced
Replace the carbon filter at least every 3months, under normal use conditions (1 to 2hours a day). This only applies to
installations with carbon filter.
