Safety during installation
WARNING!
• Always use personal protective equipment (gloves etc.) during installation, maintenance and repair.
There is a risk of injury.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• When positioning the product, ensure the power cord and power plug are not trapped or damaged. A
damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire.
• When positioning the product, ensure the power plug is accessible.
• Do not install the product in a location with direct sunlight.
• Do not install the product in areas with moisture or where it can get splashed with water, as it can harm
the electrical insulation properties.
• Keep ventilation openings outside the product clear of obstruction.
• Do not install the product without sufficient space and air ventilation around the product. This leads to
overheating.
• Do not install the product close to radiators or cookers.
• This product must be placed on a level surface of hard material.
• The surface that the product is installed on should be strong enough to support a fully loaded product.
• Adjust the feet until all feet make contact with the floor and the product is level. This prevents the product
from moving, tipping over and risk of injury.
• Do not lay the fridge upside down or horizontally, or subject it to vibration during moving.
• Do not tilt the fridge by more than 45°.
• Do not lift the fridge by the door or hinge when moving it.
• Do not install the back of the product too close to a wall. There is a risk of fire if the compressor gets
overheated.
• When positioning the fridge, the space above the fridge must be 20 mm or more, and the fridge must be
placed against a wall with a clearance of at least 20 mm to allow for air circulation and to prevent
overheating. If the fridge is installed in a tight space, it is recommended to cut a hole in the cabinet to
allow for sufficient air circulation.
• This product performs well within the climate class SN, N, ST. The product may not work properly if it is
exposed to temperatures above or below temperature ranges spanning from 10°C to 38°C for a long
period.
WARNING!
• Do not connect the product to the power socket if the product is damaged. Contact the retailer from
which you purchased the product.
• Use a dedicated power socket, meaning that the power socket must not be shared with other products.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket outlets or portable power supplies behind the product.
• Make sure to connect the power plug to an earthed socket. Check carefully to ensure that your socket is
properly and reliably earthed.
• Do not use extension cords and do not lengthen the power cord.
• After positioning the product, it is recommended to wait at least 4 hours before connecting the product to
the mains. This allows the oil to flow back in the compressor.
• If the fluctuation of voltage in the installation area exceeds the single phase alternating current of
220~240V/50Hz, use an AC automatic voltage regulator of more than 350W.
CAUTION!
• Make sure there is enough space around the fridge so the doors and drawers can open easily.
• Disconnect the fridge from the power socket before installing accessories.
