6. Turn the temperature-control knob to turn on the fridge.
NOTE! The recommended temperature in the fridge is 4°C. Make sure the recommended temperature setting is
selected (between the 3 and 4 indications).
Clean the interior
Clean the interior every two months to avoid odour. It will be easier to clean when food stocks are low.
WARNING!
• Unplug the fridge before cleaning. There is a risk of electric shock.
• Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpastes), organic
solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may
damage the products surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents such as benzene may
deform or damage plastic parts.
CAUTION!
• Regularly clean surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
• Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids to avoid damaging the product.
• Check and clean the door seal regularly with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted
detergent, see section "Clean the door seals", page 25.
• Do not use cleaning products (such as soap, detergent, scrub powder, spray cleaner, etc.) to clean the
interior. They may cause odour and may contaminate food.
NOTE!
Defrosting in the fresh food department (fridge) is done automatically. Water from the defrosting process will
be drained into a drip tray through a drain pipe at the back of the fridge. The fridge needs to be defrosted if
the frost build-up is more than 10 mm.
