30 Cleaning and maintenance - ENGLISH
CAUTION!
• Do not use metal objects or sharp objects to remove frost from the freezer interior. They may damage the
surface of the product.
• Regularly clean surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
1.
Touch and hold for 10seconds to turn off the fridge freezer.
2. Unplug the fridge freezer.
3. Remove the drawers from the freezer.
NOTE! To avoid the frozen food from getting too warm while defrosting the fridge, take precautions such as
wrapping the food in multiple layers of newspaper.
4. Position water containers for collecting water.
5. Leave the fridge freezer to defrost.
NOTE! Ventilate the room thoroughly to accelerate the process.
6. Clean the inside of the freezer. See section "Clean the interior", page 23.
7. Plug in the fridge freezer.
8.
Touch to turn on the fridge freezer.
9. When the freezer is sufficiently cold, place the drawers back in the freezer.
Prepare for longer periods of non-use
When switching off the fridge freezer for an extended period of time some preparations need to be made to keep the
product in good condition and prevent mould.
