SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before connecting the fridge freezer to mains power, check that the data on the rating
plate matches that for the mains. It should be possible to insert the plug directly into the power
outlet. An adapter can cause overheating.
2. Do not let water splash onto the fridge freezer. This can lead to malfunctions or electric
shocks.
3. If gas is leaking from a container, do not insert or remove the plug. This can lead to sparks
and fires.
4. Supervise children and ensure that they cannot play with the appliance.
5. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s
service representative or a similarly qualified person. This is to prevent the possibility of danger.
6. Keep the ventilation openings in the unit’s casing free from obstruction.
7. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting – use only those
devices/means recommended by the manufacturer.
8. Do not damage the refrigeration circuit.
9. Except where recommended by the manufacturer, do not use electrical appliances inside the
unit.
IMPORTANT!
Avoid opening the door too often, especially when the weather is humid and warm. The door
should only be open for as short a time as possible.
Regularly check that the unit is adequately ventilated (i.e. there is adequate air circulation
behind the appliance).
For domestic refrigerators and freezers in normal temperatures, set the temperature control to
a middle position.
Before filling the unit with foodstuffs, ensure that they have cooled to room temperature.
Ice and frost coatings increase energy consumption. Defrost the refrigeration element when the
coating is 3 – 5 mm thick.
If the unit has an external condenser on its rear, always keep the condenser free from dust and
other contaminants.
Always follow the instructions given in the sections on unit placement and methods for saving
energy. If you do not, energy consumption will be far higher than necessary.

SIKKERHETSINSTRUKSER
1. Før du kobler apparatet til strømnettet, må du kontrollere at dataene på merkeskiltet
samsvarer med dataene for strømnettet. Støpselet skal kunne settes rett i en stikkontakt. Adap-
tere kan forårsake overoppheting.
2. La det ikke sprute vann på skapet. Det kan føre til funksjonsfeil og/eller elektrisk støt.
3. Hvis det lekker gass fra en beholder, må du ikke ta ut eller sette i støpselet. Det kan forår-
sake gnister og brann.
4. Hold øye med barna, og sørg for at de ikke kan leke med apparatet.
5. Hvis ledningen er skadet, må den skiftes av produsenten, produsentens servicerepresentant
eller tilsvarende godkjent person for å unngå fare.
6. Pass på at ingenting stenger for apparatets ventilasjonsåpninger.
7. Bruk ikke mekaniske innretninger eller andre midler til å påskynde avrimingsprosessen,
med unntak av slike som blir anbefalt av produsenten.
8. Skad ikke kjølekretsen.
9. Bruk ikke elektriske apparater inni apparatet, med mindre det er anbefalt av produsenten.
HUSK
Unngå åpne døren for ofte, spesielt når været er fuktig og varmt. Ha døren åpen så kort tid
som mulig.
Kontroller regelmessig at apparatet har god nok ventilasjon (tilstrekkelig luftsirkulasjon bak
apparatet).
På kombiskap til husholdningsbruk i normal temperatur stiller du temperaturkontrollen i
midtstilling.
Før du fyller skapet med matvarer, bør matvarene p14-ha kjølt seg ned til romtemperatur.
Is og rim vil øke strømforbruket. Rim av kjøleelementet når laget er blitt 3 – 5 mm tykt.
Hvis apparatet har en ytre kondensator på baksiden, skal den alltid holdes fri for støv og an-
nen forurensing.
Følg alltid anvisningene som gis i avsnittene om plassering av apparatet, og om måter du kan
spare energi på. Hvis ikke, blir energiforbruket betydelig høyere enn nødvendig.
