20 Cooking with the hob - ENGLISH
Turn off the Power-boost function
1. Touch the selected cooking zone.

Touch .
The Power-boost function is turned off, and the cooking zone returns to its original setting.
Use the hob timer
The timer can be used in two different ways:
• The timer can be used as an alarm.
• The timer can be used as power cut for a cooking zone.
The timer is limited to 99 minutes.
Using the timer as an alarm
CAUTION!
The timer will not turn off any cooking zone when the set time is up.
1. Turn on the cooking zone and set the power level. See section "Turn on and turn off a cooking zone", page 18.
The power level flashes.
2.
After the power level stops flashing, touch .
10 is displayed at the timer indicator and 0 flashes.
3.
Touch and slide to set the timer, minutes.
4.
Touch again.
1 flashes.
5.
Touch and slide again to set the timer, minutes.
The set time is displayed on the timer indicator. The countdown then starts automatically.
When the time expires an acoustic signal beeps for 30 seconds and is displayed.
Using the timer as power cut
CAUTION!
Other cooking zones will keep operating if they are turned on previously.
NOTE!
You can use the timer as a power cut on multiple zones at once.

The power level flashes.

While the power level is flashing, touch .
10 is displayed at the timer indicator and 0 flashes.
3.
Touch and slide again to set the timer, minutes.
4.
Touch again.
1 flashes.
5.
Touch and slide again to set the timer, minutes.
The set time is displayed on the timer indicator, the countdown then starts automatically.
The dot next to the power level of the selected cooking zone flashes.
When the time expires an acoustic signal beeps, is displayed and the cooking zone is turned off.
