16 Cooking with the hob - ENGLISH

NOTE!
• Do not use cookware with wrong size. The cooking zone will not heat.
• Place the cookware in the centre of the cooking zone.
Basic hob operation
Use automatic ventilation
Use the automatic ventilation function to automatically adjusts the ventilation level according to the active cooking zones
and cooking levels.
NOTE!
Automatic ventilation only works when cooking zones are active.
1.
Touch to activate the hood panel.

Touch to activate the automatic ventilation function.
NOTE! To adjust the ventilation level manually when the automatic ventilation function is turned on, slide and
touch . The ventilation level is set and and flashes for 5 seconds. The automatic ventilation function is
resumed after 5 minutes.

Touch to turn off the automatic ventilation function.
When all active cooking zones are turned off, the hood ventilation level is gradually lowered to standby within 5
minutes to remove residual steam and odours. During this process, is displayed.
Turn on the hob
Before you turn on the hob, wipe off any dust or stains from the hob and make sure that the bottom of the cookware is
clean. This helps you avoid scratches and burnt-in impurities on the surface of the hob.

If you do not turn on a cooking zone within 1 minute, the hob is turned off. See section "Turn on and turn off a cooking
zone", page 17.
Turn off the hob
Turn off the hob immediately after use.

Touch and hold for 3 seconds to turn off the hob.
NOTE!
After each use of your hob, after it has cooled down, make sure to clean the surface. This prevents impurities
to burn into the hot surface at next use.
Turn on the hood

Touch and hold for 3 seconds to turn on the hob.
An acoustic signal sounds and the hob enters standby mode. is displayed.
