5. Plug in the freezer.
6. Turn the temperature-control knob in the freezer to preferred temperature level and close the door.
NOTE! The recommended temperature in the freezer is -18.0 °C. The recommended temperature setting is Mid.
Defrost the freezer
Regularly defrost the freezer, ideally every two weeks, especially if it is installed in a high-humidity environment. At a
minimum, defrost it at least once a month. A layer of frost may develop on the interior walls if the freezer door is frequently
opened or left open for extended periods. The freezer needs to be defrosted if the frost is too thick. Try to defrost when the
freezer is nearly empty.
WARNING!
Unplug the freezer before defrosting. There is a risk of electric shock.
CAUTION!
• Do not use metal objects or sharp objects to remove frost from the freezer interior. They may damage the
surface of the product.
• Regularly clean surfaces that can come in contact with food.
• Do not scrape off ice and frost or separate food from the containers which have been congealed
together with the food with sharp tools. It may damage the surface of the product or the surface of the
evaporator.
• Do not heat the freezer chamber directly with hot water or hair dryer while defrosting. It may cause
deformation of the inner case.
