6 Safety - ENGLISH
WARNING!
• Always use personal protective equipment (gloves etc.) during installation, maintenance and repair.
There is a risk of injury.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• When positioning the product, ensure the power cord and power plug are not trapped or damaged. A
damaged power plug may overheat and cause a fire.
• When positioning the product, ensure the power plug is accessible.
• Do not install the product in a location with direct sunlight.
• Do not install the product near heat sources such as radiators or cookers.
• Keep ventilation openings outside the product clear of obstruction.
• Do not install the product without sufficient space and air ventilation around the product. This leads to
overheating.
• Do not install the product close to radiators or cookers.
• The surface that the product is installed on should be strong enough to support a fully loaded product.
• Adjust the feet until all feet make contact with the floor and the product is level. This prevents the product
from moving, tipping over and risk of injury.
• Do not install the back of the product too close to a wall. There is a risk of fire if the compressor gets
overheated.
• When positioning the fridge freezer, the space above the fridge freezer must be minimum 100 mm, and
the fridge freezer must be placed against a wall with a clearance of at least 50 mm to allow for air
circulation and to prevent overheating. It is advisable to be 50 mm from the back to the wall to avoid
touching or catching warm parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent the risk of fire.
• This product performs well within the climate class SN, N, ST, T. The product may not work properly if it is
exposed to temperatures above or below temperature ranges spanning from 10°C to 43°C for a long
period.
WARNING!
• Do not connect the product to the power socket if the product is damaged. Contact the retailer from
which you purchased the product.
• Use a dedicated power socket, meaning that the power socket must not be shared with other products.
• Do not use a power socket that can be turned off by a switch.
• Do not locate multiple portable socket outlets or portable power supplies behind the product.
• Make sure to connect the power plug to an earthed socket. Check carefully to ensure that your socket is
properly and reliably earthed.
• Do not use extension cords and do not lengthen the power cord.
• Do not use an adapter when installing the fridge freezer.
• After positioning the product, it is recommended to wait at least 4 hours before connecting the product to
the mains. This allows the oil to flow back in the compressor.
• If the fluctuation of voltage in the installation area exceeds the single phase alternating current of
220~240V/50Hz, use an AC automatic voltage regulator of more than 350W.
• A 15- or 20-amp fused, earthed electrical supply is required.
CAUTION!
• Make sure to have 2 or more people present when moving or installing the product to prevent the risk of
injury.
• Do not wiggle or 'walk' the product when trying to move it to prevent floor damage. The rollers should
only be used for forward movement or backward movement. Moving the fridge freezer sideways may
damage the floor and the rollers. Since the product is heavy, cover the floor with cardboard or
hardboard, and always pull straight when moving it.
• Carefully move the product to avoid damaging the refrigerant tubing or increasing the risk of a leak when
moving it.
• Always have the water dispenser installed, even if it is not in use, to avoid cold air leaking through the
water dispenser hole.
• In order to sense the temperature and humidity near the product and make the product run better, add
temperature and humidity sensors outside the box of the appliance.
