TROUBLESHOOTING
The following simple problems can be dealt with by the user. Please contact our customer
service department if the freezer presents any problems that you cannot solve yourself.
Compressor running for an
abnormally long time
It is normal for the freezer’s compressor to run for longer
periods in the summer when the ambient temperature is
higher.
Do not have too much food in the freezer at any one time.
Do not put foodstuffs into the freezer before they have
cooled.
The freezer door is being opened too often.
Thick ice layer (defrosting required).
Interior light not working Check that the unit is connected to a working power supply.
Check that the light is intact.
Freezer door does not close
fully
Check that there is nothing blocking the door.
Check that there is not too much food in the freezer.
Check that the freezer is not at an angle.
Noisy operation Check that the foodstuffs are stably positioned.
Check that the freezer is standing rmly and balanced.
Check that all parts of the freezer are in the correct
positions.
Door not opening easily After freezing, there is a pressure difference between the
inside and the outside of the freezer. This can make it
temporarily difcult to open the door. This is entirely correct
and normal.
Heat:
• Especially in the summer, the freezer may give off heat when it is running. This is heat radiated by the
compressor and is entirely normal.
• Condensation: When air humidity is high, condensation may form on the freezer’s exterior and the
door’s seals. This is entirely normal. The condensation can be removed with a dry towel.
• Gurgling: Circulation in the refrigerant lines can produce gurgling noises. This does not affect
functionality.
• Humming: There may be a humming noise when the compressor is running (especially during starting
and stopping).
• Clicking: There is a click when the solenoid valve (electric switch valve) operates. This is entirely
normal and does not affect freezer functionality.
