CAUTION!
• Place sharp items so that they are not likely to damage the door seal.
• Very small items should not be washed in the dishwasher as they could easily fall out of the basket.
• If possible, place thin, narrow items in the middle sections of baskets.
• Place heavily soiled and larger items in the lower basket, and smaller, delicate, and light items in the upper basket.
• Items such as cups, glasses, pots and pans should face downwards.
• Curved items, or items with recesses, should be loaded at an angle so that water can run off.
• All utensils should be stacked securely so that they cannot tip over.
• All utensils should be placed so that they do not prevent the spray arms from rotating freely during washing.
• Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans, etc. upside down so that water cannot collect in the container or a
deep base.
• Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other.
NOTE!
• Load the baskets according to the standard loading options. Aim to use all 14place settings. This is
important for good results and for the efficient use of energy and water.
• If you do not load the baskets according to the standard loading options and you do not use all the
14place settings, it may lead to poorer performance and inefficient use of energy and water.
Guidelines for loading the upper basket
Use these guidelines together with the general guidelines when loading the upper basket.

D. Plates/bowls
• Load with delicate and lighter dishware such as glasses, coffee cups, tea cups and saucers, as well as plates, small
bowls and shallow pans (as long as they are not too dirty).
• You can fold the cup rack to make room for taller items. See section "Fold up and fold down cup racks", page 26.
• You can remove cutlery rack to make room for taller items. See section "Remove and install the cutlery rack", page
27.
• Position the items so that they will not be moved by the water spray.
• To avoid damage, glasses should not touch one another.
• Items of cutlery that are long or sharp, for example carving knives, must be laid horizontally in the upper basket.
