Controlling Sewing Speed

Sewingspeedcanbevariedbythespeedcontroller.

The harder you press on the controller, the faster the machine

runs.

Steponthespeedcontrollerwiththepresserfootlifterup,and

practice controlling the speed.

For Your Safety:

* While in operation, always keep your eye on the sewing

area, and do not touch any moving parts such as the

threadtake-uplever,loopers,handwheel,needleor

knives.

* Always disconnect the machine from the power supply:

— when leaving the machine unattended.

— when attaching or removing parts.

— when threading or cleaning the machine.

* Do not place anything on the foot control, otherwise the

machine will start inadvertently.

The symbol “O” of a switch indicates the “off” position of the

switch.

For an appliance with a polarized plug (one blade wider than the

other):
