b Raise the threader slowly so a loop of the thread is

pulled up through the needle eye.

v Pull down the needle threader knob as far as it will go.

c Pull the thread up and slip it between the thread cutter

and face plate from behind.

Pull the thread toward you to cut.

z Press the lockout key to lock the machine.

Lower the presser foot.

Turn the handwheel toward you until the needle thread

sign w appears on the right upper corner of the

lockout window.

x Pull the thread up to the left, over the needle threader

guide while holding the thread near the spool with

your hand.

NOTE:

The needle threader can be used with a #11 to #14

needle.

Thread size 50 to 90 is recommended.

Do not use thread size 30 or thicker.

NOTE:

Be sure that the thread pass the slit r of the needle

threader as shown.

NOTE:

If the thread is caught in the hook and the thread loop

is not formed, remove the thread from the hook and

pull it to take the thread end out through the needle

eye.

n Pull the thread loop to take the thread end out through

the needle eye to the rear.
