Adjusting the stitch length
The stitch length can be altered by pressing the stitch
length adjusting key.
The stitch length indication will change as the key is
pressed.
NOTE:
The value in the brackets q indicates the preset
setting.
Press the “+” sign on the key to move the needle bar to
the right.
Press the “−” sign on the key to move the needle bar to
the left.
Adjusting the needle drop position
The needle drop position of the straight stitches can be
altered by pressing the stitch width adjusting key.
NOTE:
The value in brackets q indicates the preset setting.
Press the “+” sign on the key to increase the stitch length.
Press the “–” sign on the key to decrease the stitch
length.

The needle drop position can be adjusted for straight
stitch patterns D1–D4, 5, 8, D96–D100, 162–165, 168,
170 and 171.
