Fringing
Machine settings
q Pattern: MODE 2: 01
w Thread tension: AUTO
e Presser foot: Satin stitch foot F
r Foot pressure: 4
Fringing adds a special touch on table linens and shawls.
Choose a rm, woven fabric like linen where threads can
be removed easily.
Carefully cut the fabric on the grain. Remove a single
strand of yarn or thread where the fringing is to begin.
Sew down the left side so the right hand stitches fall in
the open space.

Drawn work uses the same method as fringing. Choose
a rm, woven fabric like linen where threads can be
removed easily.
z Carefully cut the fabric on the grain. Determine the
width of the drawn work and remove one strand of
yarn or fabric thread at each end.
Remove all excess yarn located to the right of the
stitching and create a fringe.
