5. BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING!
Refer to Safety chapters.
5.1 Initial Cleaning
Remove all accessories and removable shelf
supports from the oven.
Refer to "Care and cleaning" chapter.
Clean the oven and the accessories before
the first use.
Put the accessories and the removable shelf
supports back to their initial position.
5.2 Preheating
Preheat the empty appliance to burn off the
remaining grease.
1. Set the maximum temperature.
2. Let the appliance operate for
approximately 20 minutes.
3. Set the function and the maximum
temperature. The maximum temperature
for this function is 210 °C.
4. Let the appliance operate for 15 minutes.
WARNING!
Accessories can become hotter than
usual.
The appliance can emit an odour and smoke.
This is normal. Make sure that the airflow is
sufficient.
Let the oven cool down. Dampen a soft cloth
with warm water and a little mild washing-up
liquid and use this to clean the oven cavity.
5.3 Installing the steam outlet cover
The steam outlet cover is used to collect the
condensate created during the oven
operation.
1. Place the hooks of the cover under the
front edge of the steam outlet holes.
2. Push down the back edge to lock the
cover.

6.1 Ignition of the hob burner
Always light the burner before you put on
the cookware.
WARNING!
Be very careful when you use open fire in
the kitchen environment. The
manufacturer declines any responsibility
in case of the flame misuse.
1. Turn the knob for the hob
counterclockwise to the maximum gas
flow position
and push it down to light
the burner.
2. Keep the knob for the hob pushed for
equal or less than 10 seconds to let the
