Programme Programme description
Washing programmes
QuickCare 59min Cotton and mixed synthetic fabrics. Ideal to wash your daily load in a short
time, for a better clothes care and good cleaning already at 30°C.
The standard programme duration has been developed on a
laundry of 5 kg. If you wash a smaller or bigger load the
washing time automatically decreases or increases.
Eco 40-60 Low energy cycle for cotton items washable at 40 or 60°C. No option can
be activated. Decreases temperature and extends time to reach good washing
results.

Cottons White cotton and coloured cotton. Normally, heavily and lightly soiled items.
Synthetics Synthetic items or mixed fabric items. Normally soiled items.
Delicates Delicate fabrics such as acrylics, viscose and mixed fabrics requiring
gentler washing. Normally and lightly soiled items.
Wool
Machine washable wool, hand washable wool and other fabrics with «hand
washing» care symbol

Spin/Drain To spin the laundry and to drain the water in the drum. All fabrics, except wool‐
lens and delicate fabrics.
Rinse All fabrics, except woollens and very delicate fabrics. Programme for rins‐
ing and spinning the laundry. The default spin speed is the one used for cotton
programmes. Reduce the spin speed accordingly to the type of laundry. If nec‐
essary, set the Extra Rinse option to add rinses. With a low spin speed the ap‐
pliance performs delicate rinses and a short spin.
Machine Clean Maintenance cycle with hot water to clean and freshen the drum and to remove
residue that may cause odour. For the best result use this cycle once a month.
Before running this cycle, remove all items from the drum. Pour a cup of chlor‐
ine bleach or a washing machine cleaner in the washing phase compartment.
DO NOT use both together.
After the drum cleaning, run a further rinse cycle with empty
drum and no detergent to remove any residue of bleach.
Run this programme especially when the message Cleaning
cycle recommended pops up. If the cleaning programme is
postponed, the message keeps on popping up during next
uses until it is run.
