How to set the water softener also
during rinse phase
The factory setting allows to soften the water
during washing phase only. This setting
satisfies most of the use condition. However,
if the inlet water is particularly hard (-6- and
-7- levels), we suggest to set the water
softener also during rinsing phase to preserve
the fabric softness.
Once you have entered the water softener
setting by pressing Steam Easy Iron and the
Extra Rinse key buttons:
1. Touch the Steam Easy Iron key button
once. The indicator and appear in
the display.
This setting increases the salt
consumption.
2. Hold pressed the Steam Easy Iron and
the Extra Rinse key buttons
simultaneously for a few seconds again
and the display returns to the programme
information screen.
How to deactivate the water
softener
Once you have entered the water softener
setting by pressing Steam Easy Iron and the
Extra Rinse key buttons:
1. Tap on the Extra Rinse key button until
the water softener is excluded
completely. The levels indicator
disappear and the display shows
only.
2. Hold pressed the Steam Easy Iron and
the Extra Rinse key buttons
simultaneously for a few seconds again
and the display returns to the programme
information screen.

6.3 Refill salt
The water softener function acts through
special resins present in the appliance.
To regenerate the resins and make them
ready to soften the water pour a special salt
in the compartment
