10. DMX CHANNEL TRAITS
The chart below details the channel layout for 4 DMX channels (default).
In 8bit mode the “Pan Fine” channel is not used, thus converting the fixture into a 3-channel
DMX fixture.
CHANNEL 1: Pan Movement (max. 630° or 540˚ User Selectable)
CHANNEL 2: 16bit Pan Movement (pan fine)
CHANNEL 3: Speed Control (Pan/Tilt movement, blackout selection)
CHANNEL 4: Tilt Scroller (Future expansion function, only available with tilt motors)
DMX channel function and values:
Channel 1 - PAN movement 8bit :
Channel 2 – Pan fine 16bit
Channel 3 - Speed pan movement:
0-225 PAN max to min speed
226-231 Power switch on
231-235 Power switch off
236-245 Motor reset
246-255 No function
Channel 4- Tilt scrolling ( Future expansion function, only available when tilt motors added)
0-7 Normal
8-127
Forward TILT rotation from fast to slow
128-135 No rotation
136-255
Backwards TILT rotation from slow to fast
