To protect against uncontrolled lowering of the drilling machine including the drill
bit and drill core, a mechanical safety catch (9) is attached to the slide (8) of the
drill worm.
Release the safety catch by pressing the crank (7) clockwise and at the same time
release the lever of the safety catch by pressing it upwards. Now slowly crank the
carriage (8) together with the machine downwards.
ATTENTION!
Be absolutely careful when doing this and make sure that
the auger worm does not tip over!
If necessary, the base should be secured against tipping over with the help
of weights.
If the core bit should get stuck, do not try to loosen it by turning the
machine on and off. This leads to early wear of the safety slip clutch.
Immediately turn the machine off and loosen the core bit by turning it with a fitting
spanner to the right and the left. Pull the machine carefully from the drill hole.
Disassembly of the Core Drill Unit
The Bohrwurm must be lowered completely for disassembly.
First remove the core drill.
Then the machine arm, machine holder, the hydraulic column, and the carriage
can be disassembled easily for space-saving transport.
Care and Maintenance
• Always keep the rail system clean, especially the column with the toothing
and the sliding rolls in the feed unit.
• In order to achieve a good performance of the rail system, the sliding rolls
in the machine holder have to move along the column without slackness.
Attention!
Check this setting after every 10th hole!
If the position should have changed, it can be
readjusted as follows:
Loosen the nuts (A) indicated E with a wrench
