11.3. Remote control
The remote control has specific functions for three distinct figures:
USER of the product (operations not protected by password)
INSTALLER (operations with dedicated password because any errors can jeopardise the product’s operations
and SECURITY)
CAT Edilkamin technical assistance centre (operations with dedicated password because any errors can
jeopardise the product’s operation and SECURITY).
Characteristics:
2.4 Ghz frequency RF transceiver module
Power supply with 3 x 1.5 Vdc AA batteries (capacity at least 1600mAh).
11.3.1. Remote control energy saving
After a period of inactivity, the backlighting dims and the display turns off.
If any key is pressed with the display off, the display and the backlight will turn on again. This only refers to the remote
control, not the product itself.
The minimum system requirements to use the The Mind App on mobile devices are the
following:
-Operating System iOS 14 or higher or Android 9.0 or higher.
-On iPhone 6S, 7 and 8, the “zoom” function of the display cannot be used.

HONOR), are not compatible with the The Mind App.

Visibility is guaranteed with display with 9;19.5 screen or similar
On the display with 9:16 screen (ex. iPhone 8) do not use the screen zoom function
The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended

The life of the remote control batteries depends on use.
