5.1.2 Desktop Mount
Ecler is currently developing a desktop/wall mount accessory. More information will be
available soon.
5.2 Mains Connection
PULSO series has two main power supply options:
• PoE (Power over Ethernet): The RJ-45 connector used for the network connection of the
device, can also provide DC power if the switch or the network connection supports it. The
power requirements in this case are guaranteed by the standard PoE version that goes
under the IEE802.3af features. This option simplifies mounting and installation, using a
single cable for data and power.
• DC power supply: In case PoE power supply is not available, the device can be powered
by using the Euroblock plug-in connector. It can be recognised by the “DC 12V” indication.
The product does not include a 12V DC power supply but any standard 12VDC-2A power
supply is suitable for this product.
Pay close attention to the polarity of the power supply when connecting the power
supply to the Euroblock connector. Any damage due to polarity inversion is not covered by
Ecler's warranty.
