Replacement O-ring
- With the help of the opening tool -
Open the logger (Figure 1).
- Remove the O-rings and clean the
slots.
- Take this new O-rings, apply a thin
film of grease and insert it into the
grooves. (See steps 7 and 8 on page
28)
- Now screw the logger again and drag
it with the opening tool by hand
(Figure 3).
Take only as much fat that the rings
shine everywhere but no fat clumps.
A used sealing O-ring must always
be disposed of. Under no
circumstances should it be reused!
This is because it is deformed when
the two parts of the housing are
screwed together. If it is used again it
will not make a proper seal!
Take care not to overstretch the new
elastic ring and not to damage when
replacing it!

Ouvrez l'enregistreur à l'aide de l'outil
d'ouverture (fig.1)
- Retirez les joints et nettoyez les
rainures
- Prenez les nouveaux joints,
imprégnez les de graisse et insérez les
dans les rainures. (voir étape 7 et 8
page 28)
- Fermez à présent l'enregisreur et
serrez fermement à l'aide de l'outil
d'ouverture (fig.3).
Utilisez juste la quantité de graisse
nécessaire pour les joints brillent
mais évitez tout excès.
Un joint d’étanchéité en doit toujours
être mis au rebut. Il ne doit jamais
être réutilisé ! La raison est qu’il est
alors déformé lorsque les deux
parties du boîtier sont serrées. S’il
est réutilisé, il n’assurera pas un rôle
d’étanchéité !
Attention à ne pas étirer le nouveau
joint en plastique et de ne pas
l’endommager en le remplaçant !
