EBI16 checking the B&D test
Starting conditions
- EBI16 must be started at room
temperature (+15°C … +35°C).
Place in the chamber
- If necessary, preheat the sterilizer
(sterilizer manual)
- The EBI 16 is to be arranged in the nominal
geometric center of the autoclave/sterilizer
at a height between 100 and 200 mm
above the chamber floor.
- For sterilizers 1 STU or smaller, the
procedure must be modified in such a way
that the EBI 16 is clear above the chamber
bottom.
- Place the EBI16 vertical in the chamber.
- Make sure that the EBI16 is not in the area
of the steam entry.
- Start the sterilizer immediately after
placement of the EBI16
- During the B&D test, no other load is
allowed in the chamber.
Evaluation
- Interface and software are required for the
operation of the EBI16
- Automatic evaluation of the B&D test can
only be carried out with Winlog.med or
Winlog.validation.
Archiving of the results
- The archiving of the results is ensured
permanently by Winlog.med or
Winlog.validation.

Conditions de départ
- L’EBI 16 doit être démarré à température
ambiante (+15°C…+35°C).
Positionnement dans la chambre
- Si nécessaire, préchauffer le stérilisateur.
- L'EBI 16 doit être disposé dans le centre
géométrique nominal de l'autoclave à une
hauteur comprise entre 100 et 200 mm au-
dessus du plancher de la chambre.
- Pour les stérilisateurs 1 STE ou plus petit,
la procédure doit être modifiée de telle
sorte que l'EBI 16 soit au-dessus du fond
de la chambre.
- Positionner l’EBI 16 verticalement dans la
chambre.
- Veuillez-vous assurer que l’EBI 16 ne se
trouve pas à l’endroit où pénètre la vapeur.
- Démarrer le stérilisateur immédiatement
après avoir positionné l’EBI 16.
- Pendant le test de B&D, aucune autre
charge n’est autorisée dans la chambre.
Evaluation
- L’interface et le logiciel sont nécessaires
pour utiliser l’EBI 16
- L’évaluation automatique du test de B&D
peut être effectuée seulement avec les
logiciels Winlog.med ou Winlog.validation.
Archivage des résultats
- L’archivage des résultats est assuré en
permanence par le logiciel Winlog.med ou
Winlog.validation.
