Cleaning with steam - what you should know

− Do not operate the steam cleaner if it is obviously damaged,
parts are loose or missing, or safety devices or other parts are
not working properly.
− If there are large temperature differences between the inner
and outer pane or glass or mirror surface and hot steam, there
is a risk of injury from glass breakage and splinters. Always
steam cold surfaces carefully from a longer distance and heat
up slowly.
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the device may result in damage.
− Temperature-sensitive fabrics can become affected by hot
steam. Furthermore, water-soluble adhesives can dissolve.
− Make sure that the device openings and nozzles are
exposed. Do not insert objects into the openings under any
circumstances.
− Never operate the steam cleaner without water.
− Do not use accessories from another manufacturer. Only use
the steam cleaner as described in the instructions.
− Only operate the steam cleaner with water. Do not add alcohol,
vinegar, descaling agent, detergent or any other additives to
the water.
− Make sure that the surface to be cleaned is hard, scratch-
resistant and hard-wearing when you work on it directly with
the brush. Other surfaces may become damaged.

know
• The cleaning effect depends primarily on temperature, pressure and steam
quantity. The distance between the steam jet and the surface also plays in
important role. But: Not every surface or material is suitable for treatment with a
steam cleaner, see "Areas of application” section.
• For sensitive surfaces, first choose a slightly larger distance when steaming. Then
try steam cleaning on a small and preferably concealed area. This will allow you
to see how the surface reacts to treatment with hot steam.
