If you do not know whether a material is suitable for treatment with
hot steam, first try it out on a small and, if possible, concealed area.
Follow the manufacturer's care instructions.
You should be careful with the following surfaces or materials. Overlaps are possible
with materials in the table above.
Material/surface Possible consequences
Leather can bleach
Varnished wood can bleach
Unvarnished wood can swell
Plastic (general) may steam up
Plastic (soft) can deform
Glass/mirror can crack, if hot steam hits the cold
surface
First steam the glass/mirror over a large
area from a longer distance and heat it
up slowly in this way.
Initial use
Unpacking and inspection
1. Remove the handheld steamer from its packaging.
2. Check whether the delivery is complete.
3. Check whether the appliance or individual parts are damaged. If this is the case,
do not use the handheld steamer. Contact the manufacturer via the service
address stated on the warranty card.
