Step 1 - Connect the Battery

Remove service end cover
1.
Reinstall service end cover
a. Reinstall the service end cover with an 8 mm socket
wrench.
4.
Locate the battery cables
a. Locate the battery cables above and behind the
battery. One side is connected to the housing and
the other end is attached to the battery terminals.
b. Route both battery ends forward to clip together.
2.
Connect battery cables
a. Match the positive and negative cable ends, then clip
both ends together.
3.
a. Remove the maintenance end cover that’s opposite
the handle end with an 8 mm socket wrench.
