4.9 Adjusting the needle thread regulator
The needle thread regulator determines the needle thread quantity
to be guided around the hook.
Proper setting
The loop of the needle thread slides at low tension over the thickest
point of the hook.

To adjust the needle thread regulator:
1. Loosen the screw (2).
• Reduce the thread quantity: Slide the needle thread
regulator (1) to the right
(Thread is guided more tightly around the hook)
• Increase the thread quantity: Slide the needle thread
regulator (1) to the left
(Thread is guided more loosely around the hook)
2. Tighten the screw (2).
WARNING
Risk of injury from needle tip and moving parts!
Puncture, cutting and crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before adjusting the
needle thread regulator.
