5. Assemble the locking mechanism (3) to the tabletop.
Check prior to assembly if the locking mechanism can extend
and retract without issue ( p. 189).
6. Fit the torsion spring (4).
Pay attention to the position of the hook (5).
7. Assemble the locking mechanism (3) to the machine using
adjusting washers (6) and (7) and the locking ring (8).
8. Tighten the torsion spring (4) and clamp it behind the locking
mechanism (3).
Make sure nobody can be insured if the torsion spring inad-
vertently recoils.
