Fig. 51: Replacing corner knives
To replace the corner knives:
1. Swivel the corner knife station out ( p. 86).
2. Loosen the screw (2).
3. Remove the old corner knife.
4. Insert a new corner knife (3) into the corner knife holder (1).
5. Push the corner knife (3) upwards into the piercer (4).
The tips or the knives must be situated in the depression of
the piercer (4).
6. Tighten the screw (2).
7. Swivel the corner knife station in ( p. 86).
4.28.3 Automatic corner knife station for straight or slanted pockets
(option)
The pocket length and the slanted pocket shape for the automatic corner
knife station are freely programmable.
The distance and the angle to the seam can be adjusted manually for
the corner knives.
