The feeding and cutting of a reinforcement strip (2) from the roll is controlled
by the stepper motor (1). The electromotive, length-controlled tape feeder
with automatic cutter transports the reinforcement strip (2) under the pocket
opening and cuts it off at the seam end.
The process is carried out during the cycle time. No further positioning and
working times are required.
The starting and the cutting point can be programmed individually.
Important
It is not possible to use the tape feeder in combination with the shims
( p. 80).

To insert the reinforcement strip:
1. Loosen the knurled screw (6).
