4 Operation
The operating sequence consists of several different steps. Fault-free
operation is necessary in order to achieve a good sewing result.
4.1 Preparing the machine for operation
Complete the following steps in preparation of sewing before starting to
work:
• Inserting or changing the needle
• Threading the needle thread
• Threading or winding the hook thread
• Adjusting the thread tension
4.2 Switching on and off the machine

To switch the machine on/off:
1. Turn the main switch (1) to the I position.
The machine starts up.
The control panel starts up.
2. Turn the main switch (1) to the O position.
The machine switches off.
WARNING
Risk of injury from moving, cutting and sharp
parts!
Crushing, cutting and punctures are possible.
If possible, make preparations only when the
machine is switched off.
