1. Remove all parts, accessories, and the
manual for your kit and lay them out. Read the
manual carefully first and check that all parts
are present. Start by removing your
saddlebags, being careful not to scratch them.
Remove the lid, latch, and all other hardware off
the bags.
2. Place one of the saddlebags on a flat surface.
Make sure that the surface facing the rear
wheel is facing down and the latch is facing up.
To protect the paint, wrap the saddlebags inside
and out with delicate surface specialty tape
(e.g., painter's tape).
3. With one of the adapters in hand, place it
inside the saddlebag to test the fit. Please note
that the ring has contours designed to fit the
bag exactly. Once the fit is confirmed, use a
marker to trace the included template or trace
the inner part of the speaker ring onto the
applied tape, ensuring it touches the saddlebag.
4. Cut out the ring and clean the surface of any
debris or rough edges. At this point, you should
also pre-drill the mounting holes for your
speaker. Test fit the adapter to ensure it sits
properly, and install the speaker to check for
proper clearance. Pre-drill holes for screws to
help keep the adapter in place while the 2-part
epoxy or waterproof silicone sets. The screws
can also be used to hold the adapter without an
adhesive to make it rremovable. You can now
remove the inner tape, apply the adhesive, and
install the set screws.
NOTE: If applying adhesive, this can make it
permanent.
5. Once the 2-part epoxy or waterproof silicone
is dry, you are ready to mount your speaker, and
the speaker’s wire should be run into the bag at
this time. Now, repeat the same process on the
other bag. Remove all the tape, reinstall your
lids and accessories, and your saddlebag is
ready to go back on your bike.
6. This kit requires an amplifier. There should be
speaker wires routed to each saddlebag
location to connect to the speakers. Now you
are ready to tune your system, so sit down, hold
on, and enjoy the ride.

This model comes with bag seals to seal the top
of your Harley bags for your mid-bass or
speaker. These are CNC-cut ABS with a
reinforced design and may require some minor
modifications depending on the sweep at the
rear of the bag. This may also require filling in a
small gap, either using silicone or a 2-part
epoxy to bond it and make a complete seal. If
you wish to make it accessible, you can use
double-sided tape and add a gasket seal for
better speaker response.
