9. PROCEDURE AND APPLICATION GUIDE
Set the camshaft in position using component 3 as shown.
Support Tool SE11249
Fit tensioner tool to pulley and slacken bolt A.Turn tensioner in
an anti-clockwise direction to release tension on timing belt.
Remove timing belts from sprockets
Use component 1 to set the cam shaft positions relative
to each other

Align the timing marks according to the manufacturer’s instructions and fit the crank-
shaft alignment tool 2 as shown.
