Using LaunchPad
LaunchPad controls access to your underlying system desktop. This keeps your IDW520 console safe from unauthorized
access.
NOTE:
If you see the LaunchPad app on your screen, that means that you have touched the Go to
Desktop button in Maintenance mode or the IDW520 software isn’t running. Either restart the
IDW520 application from LaunchPad or restart the console.
1. Press the Maintenance icon to open the maintenance screen.
2. Select Admin Mode.
3. Select Go to Desktop to open Launchpad.
4. From the LaunchPad screen, you can:
Restart the applications.
Restart the computer
Shutdown the computer
Access a advanced actions such as the system desktop and other administrative functions.
ATTENTION:
Before accessing advanced actions, it is a good idea to speak with Technical Support for further direction.
