Panasonic Camera Settings
The camera settings here are recommend by DNP for optimal ID photo picture taking. For unique or difficult lighting
condition, please contact DNP support for advice changing or using other settings.
RECORD Menu
Aspect Ratio (menu pg. 1): 4:3
Picture Size (1): S.4.5.M
Meter Mode (2): CENTER
Burst Rate (2): L
Shutter Type (5): AUTO
ISO Increments (6): 1/3 EV
NOTE: Camera Image Size
For normal operation, the S.4.5.M image size is recommended. Changing this camera setting to a larger image size
(Medium or Large) will transfer a larger image, which increases the resolution and size of the transferred image files. This
may be necessary for certain government requirements for image uploads. Using larger images files will also result in
longer IDW520 processing times.
NOTE: Camera Aspect Ratio
For normal operations, 4:3 aspect ratio is recommended. However, using 1:1 aspect ratio will optimize the image size
and allow the IDW to perform better in some cases.
