Operation
ON/OFF
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on/o. While the fan is in standby, the
location of the On/O button is indicated by a braille dot on the control panel.
SPEED SETTINGS
Turn the knob on the side of the fan head (clockwise for +, anti-clockwise for -)
or press the fan speed up/down buttons on the remote to select the fan speed.
The control panel will indicate the current fan speed from 1 to 12 for 5 seconds
after selection, after-which the display will show the ambient temperature in °C.
The ambient temperature and speed indicator will be displayed alternatively in a 5
second cycle.
TIMER
Press the TIMER button ( ) on the display or remote control to set a timer from 1 to
12 hours. The digital display will blink to display the current timer setting number.
Note: Once the timer is set, the display will show the current speed, timer and
ambient temperature alternatively every 5 seconds. The timer can be displayed at
any time by pressing the timer button a second time once set.
OSCILLATION
To turn on the oscillation function, press the oscillation button ' ' on the display or
remote. To stop oscillation, press the oscillation button again. When the fan is turned
o, the fan will return to it's initial position in the middle.
FAN MODE
Press the fan mode button ' ' on the display or the remote to cycle dierent fan
modes. The fan mode will cycle between Sleep, Natural and Normal mode with each
press.
Natural Mode : The fan will simulate a 'natural wind breeze' by changing it's
speed level every 5 seconds, from 1 up to 8 and back to 1 in steps of 1.
Sleep Mode : The fan will automatically decrease it's speed by one level
every 30 minutes from the selected starting speed. While the fan is in sleep
mode operation, turning the speed dial on the side of the unit will cancel and
return the fan to a normal mode state
MUTE
To mute the operation noises/beeps of the fan, press the mute button on the remote
control. Note: this function is only available on the remote control.
