• The splicer does not need to be oiled or lubricated.

Oil or grease can impair the splicing performance and

damage the splicer.

• The power indicator merely shows whether the DC voltage

supplying the components of the device has been

disconnected from the mains. If the power indicators

(of the power supply unit or the device) do not light up,

this does not mean that the device is completely

disconnected from the mains.

• It is essen�al to observe: EN 60728 - Part 1 Safety

requirements: No service work during thunderstorms.

1.1.5. Repair

• Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer.

Incorrectly carried out repairs can result in considerable

danger to the user.

• In the event of malfunc�ons, the appliance must be

disconnected from the power supply and authorized

specialist personnel must be called in. If necessary, the

appliance must be returned to the manufacturer.
