NOTE:
If the DIGITAL IN indicator is flashing, the digital signal
is unlocked. If this is the case, recording is not
possible.
If the MD1 pitch is operated when recording with MD1
selected as the input, noise will be generated and
recording will stop. Turn the MD1 pitch off when
recording with MD1 selected as the input.

Set the presettings according to the purpose.

Set the recording pause mode.
Press the REC button.
Load the cartridge.
Flashing
For a disc on which 3 tracks are already
recorded.
The disc’s total number of tracks and playing time are
displayed.
Set the input signal.
Press the EDIT/INPUT button and switch between analog
and digital, according to the input signal.
(ANALOG / DIGITAL 1 / DIGITAL 2 / MD 1)
Adjust the recording level.
When recording analog inputs, use the Rec LEVEL
controls to adjust the recording level.

Adjust so that the level meter’s “OVER”
indicator does not light even when the
maximum level is input.

Recording starts and the indicator lights.
• The disc and track name can be input during recording.
Refer to “(8) Inputting Names” (P30) steps 5 to 9.
Note that name input is automatically stopped when
the track is incremented.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
To change the track number during recording.
Press the REC button.
To pause recording:
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

Stopping recording.
The indicator flashes while the UTOC is being
written.

Recording stops and the recording pause mode is set.
To resume recording, press the PLAY/PAUSE button
again. The track number is incremented and recording
resumes.
