2. Remove the SIM card (optional).
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Remove the battery.
5. Remove the M.2 2230 or M.2 2280 SSD, as applicable. .
6. Remove the 5G WWAN card.
7. Remove the fan.
8. Remove the display assembly.
9. Remove the system board.
NOTE: The system board can be removed and installed with the heat sink to preserve the thermal bond.
10. Remove the I/O board.

Steps
1. Remove the two (M2x2) screws that secure the power button to the palm-rest assembly.
2. Lift the power button off the palm-rest assembly.
