Steps
1. Align the notch on the M.2 2230 SSD with the tab on the M.2 2230 SSD slot.
2. Slide the M.2 2230 SSD into the M.2 2230 SSD slot.
3. Replace the screw (M2x3) that secures the M.2 2230 SSD to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Place the SSD bracket on its slot on the palm-rest assembly and replace the two (M2x3) screws.

2. Install the SIM card (optional) .

3. Remove the base cover.
About this task
NOTE:
The heat sink may become hot during normal operation. Allow sufficient time for the heat sink to cool before you
touch it.
NOTE: For maximum cooling of the processor, do not touch the heat transfer areas on the heat sink. The oils in your skin
can reduce the heat transfer capability of the thermal grease.
