Steps
1. Remove the two screw (M2x4) that secures the 5G WWAN-card bracket to the 5G WWAN card.
2. Lift the 5G WWAN-card shield off the 5G WWAN card.
3. Loosen the captive screw that secures the 5G WWAN-card bracket to the 5G WWAN card.
4. Disconnect the antenna cables from the 5G WWAN card.
5. Slide and remove the 5G WWAN card off the 5G WWAN-card slot on the system board.
NOTE: If you are replacing the 5G WWAN card, ensure that the thermal pad is in place.
NOTE: If you are replacing the system board, ensure to peel the thermal pad from the old system board to the new
system board.
NOTE: If the thermal pad is damaged, peel the thermal pad from the system board and replace it with a new thermal
pad. The thermal pad must be purchased separately.
