Steps
1. Remove the eight torx screws (T5, M2x3) that secure the base cover to the computer.
2. Using a plastic scribe, pry open the base cover starting from the SD-card slot on the base cover.
CAUTION:
Do not fully insert the plastic scribe into the SD-card slot before prying. Only pry the edge of the
base cover nearest to the SD-card slot opening.
CAUTION: Do not pry up from the top side (near the vents) of the base cover. It may damage the rear side of
the cover.
