2. Description of the device

3. Purpose of the device
The power bank is a device that can be used as a portable power bank
for charging many electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, mobile
phones, GPS, mp3 players and others. The device can be used to assist
in starting car engines. It provides emergency starting assistance for
petrol and diesel cars (depending on the parameters of the car battery).
It is also suitable for motorbikes, cars, motorbikes, scooters, boats, etc.,
depending on the parameters of the battery. In addition, the power bank
is equipped with an LED torch with various light modes.
It is permissible to use the device in renovation and construction work,
repair workshops, amateur work, subject to the conditions of use and
permissible working conditions contained in the operating instructions.
4. Restriction on use
The appliance may only be used in accordance
with the ‘Permitted operating conditions’ below.
Unauthorised changes to the mechanical and
electrical design, any modifications, maintenance
operations not described in the operating instructions will be
treated as illegal and will result in the immediate loss of warranty
rights and the declaration of conformity will become invalid.
Misuse or use not in accordance with the operating instructions will result
in immediate loss of warranty rights.

6. Preparing for use
All operations described in this chapter should be
carried out with the battery disconnected.
Check the condition of the device before use.
Do not plug in a damaged device or one with a damaged power cable.
Charge to 100% after every attempt to start the vehicle or every 3 months
to ensure long battery life.
Charging the DEPP1201's battery
The device can be charged by connecting the supplied cable to a micro
USB 5 V 3 A socket, which can be connected to a standard 5 V charger
(e.g. telephone) or a computer, laptop etc. equipped with a USB socket.
The charging and battery charge status of the device is indicated via the
display. During charging, the battery charge level will appear on the
display.
Before connecting the device to a power source, make sure that the
supply voltage corresponds to the value indicated on the rating plate
7. Switching on the device
Before starting up the unit, it is essential to carry
out the steps described in the section ‘Preparing
for operation’.

To switch on the appliance, press the on/off button (Fig. A, 1). The
indicator lights will indicate the battery charge level. The Powerbank will
also start automatically when the charger is connected to the USB-C
socket.
8. Operation of the device
When operating the device, all safety rules and
instructions described in the safety conditions
must be strictly observed.
Charging mobile phones, tablets, etc.
Connect the cable to the USB charging socket (Fig. A, 5). Plug the
appropriate end into the charging socket on the phone, tablet, etc.
Switch on the device using the start button (fig. A, 1). The device will
recognise the connected product and start charging according to the
required parameters.
Starting the vehicle
A fully charged power bank will allow several attempts (up to 5) to start
the vehicle.
Switch on the power bank. Connect the cable with terminals to the battery
to the JUMP START socket (Fig. A, 2). Connect the terminals to the
battery clamps (red terminal to positive terminal, black terminal to
negative terminal). Press the BOOST button on the wire with terminals.
A correct connection will be signalled by a green LED. If the red diode
comes on or if none comes on, check the connection of the terminals to
the battery clamps.
Start the vehicle. Once the vehicle has started, disconnect the cable from
the JUMP START socket and then, taking extra care, unhook the clamps
from the battery clamps.
LED torch function
With the powerbank switched on, press and hold the switch (Fig. A, 1)
for approx. 3 seconds. The torch will start to shine continuously. Pressing
the switch again will start intermittent lighting, pressing it again will start
the SOS signal. Pressing again will turn the torch off.
Do not look at the light source.
9. Ongoing maintenance
All maintenance must be carried out with the unit
unplugged.
Carry out all maintenance with the power supply disconnected.
Check the condition of the charging cables each time. Do not use
damaged cables.
When charging is complete, disconnect all cables and switch off the
device.
Keep the device clean, especially pay attention to the condition of the
charging sockets.
Storage and transport
Store in a dry, dark place, if possible in the original packaging. Keep out
of the reach of children.
10. Spare parts and accessories
For the purchase of spare parts and accessories, please contact the
Dedra Exim service. Contact details can be found on page 1 of the
manual.
When ordering spare parts, please quote the batch number on the
nameplate together with the part number from the assembly drawing.
During the warranty period, repairs are carried out in accordance with the
terms of the warranty card. Return the faulty product for repair at the
place of purchase (the dealer is obliged to accept the faulty product),
send it to the central Dedra Exim service centre or to the service centre
closest to your place of residence (list of service centres at
www.dedra.pl). Kindly enclose the completed warranty card. After the
warranty period has expired, repairs are carried out by the central
service. Send the defective product to the service centre (shipping costs
are paid by the user).
