Information on vibrations and noise
The combined value of the vibration ah and the measurement uncertainty were
determined in accordance with the standard EN 62841-1 and are given in the table.
Noise emissions were determined in accordance with the standard EN 62841-1,
and values are given in the table above.
Informacja na temat hałasu
Noise emissions were determined in accordance with the standard EN 62841-1,
and values are given in the table above.
Noise can cause hearing damage, always wear hearing
protection when working!
The declared total vibration/noise value has been measured according to a
standard test method and can be used to compare one device with another. The
stated vibration/noise level can also be used for a preliminary vibration/noise
exposure assessment.
Vibration/noise levels during actual use of the equipment may differ from the
declared values, depending on the use of the work tools, in particular the type of
workpiece and the need to determine operator protection measures. In order to
accurately estimate exposure in actual use conditions, all parts of the work cycle
must be taken into account, including periods when the machine is switched off or
when it is switched on but not used for work.
6. Preparing for use
The device is part of the SAS+ALL line, so to use it, a kit
consisting of the device, battery and charger must be
completed. The use of other batteries and chargers is prohibited.
All operations described in this chapter should be carried
out with the battery disconnected.
Remove the guard from the pruning shear blades before starting work. Then check
that the blades are screwed together correctly, if there is play, tighten the nut (Fig.
B.1). Place the charged battery in the socket of the tool. The appliance is now ready
for use.
7. Switching on the device
Before starting up the unit, it is essential to carry out the
steps described in the section ‘Preparing for operation’.
The unit is fitted with an on/off switch to prevent accidental starting. To switch on
the secateurs, press the switch (puts the unit into standby mode), then quickly press
the trigger 2 times. The unit is ready for use, as indicated by a beep. After 30
seconds of inactivity, the unit goes into standby mode and after 10 minutes it is
switched off completely.
8. Operation of the device
If the battery gets hotter than 40°C, stop operation and
wait for the battery to cool down.
When operating the device, all safety rules and
instructions described in the safety conditions must be
strictly observed..
Cutting branches and shoots
It is recommended that pruning cuts are not made perpendicularly, but slightly at an
incline and at a height of about 5 mm above the bud.The incline cut should be made
so that the highest point is above the bud.
The cut should not be made too close to the trunk so that the cutting area can heal.
Before starting the cut, the fixed blade should rest with its inner edge against the
stem or branch. When cutting hard branches, the blade may not cut the branch the
first time, release the switch trigger. The blade will automatically return to its initial
state. Restart the unit.
Jaw opening adjustment
The unit has 4 jaw opening positions. Use the button on the housing (Fig. A, 6) to
set the desired jaw opening (indicated by LEDs at the switch).
The device is equipped with a thermal protection device to prevent the motor from
overheating. If the protection is triggered, the power supply will be cut off and the
unit will stop operating. Wait several minutes for the temperature on the motor to
drop to a level that will allow the unit to be switched on again.
9. Ongoing maintenance
All maintenance must be carried out with the unit
unplugged.
Clean the entire power tool regularly, paying particular attention to cleaning the
ventilation openings of the power tool.
Avoid charging the battery pack immediately after intensive use. Due to the
discharge phenomenon, do not store the battery pack completely discharged, as it
may then discharge below a critical level and become permanently damaged.
Therefore, when not in use, the battery should be stored partially charged (to
approx. 40%). The battery should be charged before it is completely discharged.
Batteries should be stored at a temperature of 10-30°C. Batteries stored at low
temperatures lose capacity more quickly.
For how to charge the battery pack, refer to the instructions for the battery pack and
charger in the SAS+ALL series.
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
If it is necessary to send the device to a service centre for
repair, protect it from accidental mechanical damage and remove the batteries from
the charger socket.
How to dismantle the battery
To remove the battery pack, grasp the unit by the handle and then press the release
button on the front of the battery pack. Slide the battery pack out of the socket. To
fit the battery pack, slide the battery pack into the battery slot and then press down
until the handle latch engages.
Attachment, tool replacement
Once the tool has been clamped, make sure it has been clamped correctly: lay the
power tool horizontally and try to eject the clamped tip. If it cannot be ejected, it
means that it has been clamped correctly.
Maintenance of the appliance
Maintenance includes servicing of the equipment including accessories, i.e. the
battery and charger..
Never carry out maintenance work on equipment that is
connected to a power source.
This can cause serious injury or electric shock. The battery must be removed from
the battery socket before maintenance.
Maintenance of the unit consists of keeping all its components necessary for normal
operation properly clean. No solvents may be used for cleaning as this may cause
irreparable damage to the casing and other plastic components.
The battery must not be cleaned with water as this may cause internal short circuits
leading to permanent damage.
Before each start-up:
- Check that the engine vents are not obstructed or dirty. If necessary, expose/clean
with a cloth slightly dampened with water.;
After each use:
- Disconnect the battery to avoid accidental activation by unauthorised persons or
during handling.
10. Spare parts and accessories
For the purchase of spare parts and accessories, please contact the Dedra Exim

When ordering spare parts, please quote the batch number on the nameplate
together with the part number from the assembly drawing.
During the warranty period, repairs are carried out in accordance with the terms of
the warranty card. Return the faulty product for repair at the place of purchase (the
