Maintenance
NOTE! Before cleaning or maintaining the hood, always disconnect it from power by
removing the plug from the socket or switching off the main power source.
Cleaning
The hood should be regularly cleaned (at least as often as the grease filters), both
inside and outside. Clean the hood with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Do not
use abrasive products.
• Do not use wet sponges or water jets.
• Do not use solvents or alcohol because they may roughen the painted surfaces.
• Do not use corrosive substances, particularly for cleaning stainless steel surfaces.
• Do not use hard cloths or abrasives.
• We recommend using a wet cloth and neutral detergents.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
NOTE!: Failure to comply with the basic instructions for hood cleaning and filter
replacement may cause a fire hazard. Consequently, we recommend complying with
these use instructions. The manufacturer does not bear any liability for motor damage
or fires caused by improper maintenance or failure to comply with the safety
instructions above.
Grease filter
The filter captures grease particles from cooking. It should be washed at least once a
month using mild detergents, by hand or in a dishwasher, at low temperatures and
using a short dishwashing cycle. Clean the filter regularly because grease build-up may
increase the risk of ignition. When it is washed in a dishwasher, the metallic grease filter
may become discoloured, but its filtration performance will remain unchanged.
Some hood models are fitted with acrylic filters. This filter should be replaced once
every 2 months or more often if the appliance is used intensively.

¡ATENCIÓN! Antes de la limpieza o el mantenimiento, desconecte la campana
de la red eléctrica retirando el enchufe de la toma de corriente o
desconectando la fuente de alimentación principal.
Limpieza de la campana
La campana debe limpiarse periódicamente (al menos con la misma
frecuencia que los filtros antigrasa), tanto por dentro como por fuera. Debe
limpiarse con un paño humedecido con un producto de limpieza delicado. Se
prohíbe el uso de productos abrasivos
• .No utilice esponjas húmedas ni chorros de agua.
• No utilice disolventes ni alcohol, p164-ya que pueden opacar las superficies
pintadas.
• No utilice sustancias corrosivas, especialmente al limpiar superficies de
acero inoxidable.
• No utilice paños duros ni abrasivos.
• Recomendamos usar un paño húmedo y productos limpiadores neutros.
¡SE PROHÍBE EL USO DE ALCOHOL!
IMPORTANTE: Si no se siguen las instrucciones básicas para la limpieza de
la campana y la sustitución de los filtros, puede producirse un riesgo de
incendio. Por lo tanto, le recomendamos que siga estas instrucciones. El
fabricante declina toda responsabilidad por daños al motor o incendios
debidos al mantenimiento inadecuado o al incumplimiento de las instrucciones
de seguridad anteriores.
Filtro antigrasa
Atrapa las partículas de grasa que se producen al cocinar. Debe lavarse al
menos una vez al mes con productos limpiadores delicados, a mano o en el
lavavajillas a baja temperatura y con un ciclo de lavado corto. Limpie el filtro
periódicamente, p164-ya que un filtro saturado con grasa puede hacer que se
incendie con mayor facilidad. Al lavarlo en el lavavajillas, el filtro antigrasa
metálico puede decolorarse, pero sus propiedades filtrantes permanecerán
inalteradas.
