If the display flashes alternately with heat setting
• You have not placed any cookware on the selected cooking zone
• The cookware is not suitable for induction cooking
• The cookware is too small or not centered correctly on the cooking zone
Notes:
• No heating takes place unless there’s suitable cookware on the cooking zone
• The display will turn off automatically after 2 minutes if there is no suitable cookware placed on it
• When unsuitable size or non-magnetic cookware (or some other small item like a knife, key, fork) has
been left on the cooktop, the corresponding cooking zone will automatically turn off in 1 minute
Cautions:
• It is important to only use metal pans designed specifically for induction, or ones that are approved for
use with induction
• Never allow melamine or plastic containers to come into contact with the heat zones
