■ Titanium apatite deodorizing filter (black-light blue)
[ Maintenance ]
1. Clean of dust every 6 months
• Vacuum dust and soak in cold or lukewarm water for about 10 to 15 min-
utes if very dirty (avoid using warm or hot water).
• After washing, shake off the remaining water and let it dry in the shade.
• Do not wring out the filter to remove water from it.
[ Replacement ]
1. Detach the filter element and attach a new one.
• It is recommended to replace the titanium apatite deodorizing filter every 3 years
■ Honeycomb deodorizing filter (gray)
[ Maintenance ]
1. Dry the Honeycomb deodorizing filter in the sun.
•
After removing the dust with a vacuum cleaner, place the filter in the sun for approximately 6 hours.
By drying the Honeycomb deodorizing filter in the sun, its deodorizing capabilities are
regenerated.
• Because the filter material is paper, it can not be cleaned with water.
• It is recommended to dry the filter once every 6 months.
[ Replacement ]
1. Detach the filter element and attach a new one.
Check
Check that the base, stand and other fittings of the outdoor unit are not decayed or corroded.
Check that nothing blocks the air inlets and the outlets of the indoor unit and the outdoor unit.
Check that the drain comes smoothly out of the drain hose during COOL or DRY operation.
• If no drain water is seen, water may be leaking from the indoor unit. Stop operation and consult the ser-
vice shop if this is the case.
