This manual provides installation, setup and troubleshooting information for the control
panel for Air Cooled Chillers with screw compressor.
Any operational description contained in this manual is based on control software ver.
ASDU01C and following revisions.
Chiller operating characteristics and menu selections may vary with other versions of
control software. Contact Daikin for software update information
1.1. Installation Precautions
Warning
Electric shock hazard. It can cause personal injury or equipment damage. This equipment must be
properly grounded. Connections and service of the control panel must be performed only by
personnel that are knowledgeable in the operation of the equipment being controlled.
Caution
Static sensitive components. A static discharge while handling electronic circuit boards can cause
damage to the components. Discharge any static electrical charge by touching the bare metal inside
the control panel before performing any service work. Never unplug any cables, circuit board
terminal blocks, or power plugs while power is applied to the panel.
1.2. Temperature and Humidity considerations
The controller is designed to operate within an ambient temperature range of –40°C to
+65°C with a maximum relative humidity of 95% (non-condensing).
