4 Client Configuration
You can log in to the server through the Client and to manage and configure detection solutions and
rules.
Preparation
Before configuration, make sure that:
The server is enabled.
Once the server is powered on, the light on the front panel will be on. It indicates that the server
started and is running normally.
The Client is installed. See "3 Client Installation".
The network for the PC where the Client is to be installed has already been set up, and that the
network cameras, and server are already on the network segment.
Managing Server and Remote Devices
Add and link the traffic event detection server and remote devices to the Client before you can
configure server and device parameters.
4.2.1 Managing Server
You can add, modify, and delete the information of the server.
4.2.1.1 Adding Server
Double-click to open the Client, and then click Device Manager.

Click Add to configure parameters.
